Bentagran® Top 240 EC – Long Description

Bentagran® Top 240 EC is a broad-spectrum, selective post-emergence herbicide that effectively controls broadleaf weeds in leguminous crops, cereals, and vegetables. The active ingredient, Bentazone (240 g/L), inhibits photosynthesis in susceptible weeds, leading to rapid wilting and death. This formulation is designed for use in peas, beans, soybeans, peanuts, potatoes, and other field crops, ensuring effective weed suppression without harming the main crop.

Application Rates & Usage

• General Broadleaf Weed Control: Apply 1.0–2.5 L per hectare, depending on weed species and growth stage.

• Spot Treatment: Mix 100–200 ml per 20 L of water and apply directly to weeds.

• Best Application Timing: Use on actively growing weeds at the 2–6 leaf stage for optimal results.

• Reapplication: If necessary, a follow-up application may be done 10–14 days later.
