Plant:

• Very vigorous plant with medium to large heads.

• Highly adaptable variety in many growing areas and record notable tolerance against Black Rot disease and ring spot.

• The variety is suitable for both fresh market and processing purpose.

• Recommended standard spacing: 60 * 45 cm for medium heads or 60 8 60 cm for large heads.

Plant features:

• The head is round and medium to large with excellent internal red colour.

• Pendo F1 has a good compact head making it ideal for distant market transportation.

• The plant has excellent wrapper leaves that allow the head to remain fresh for a long time in the market and retail shelves.

• High notable field holding ability and good plants and heads uniformity.

• Average head size: 3 – 5kg under good crop management.

• Yield potential: 40-65 tons/acre

• Strong waxy, fresh green leaves – strong against Diamond Back Moth (DBM) attack.
