Active Ingridients
(S-Metolachlor 375g/L, Terbuthylazlne 125g/L, Mesotrione 37.Sg/L)
Dose Rate
2S0-400ml/20L of water
How it Works
S-Metolachlor (375g/L)
Mode of Action: It is a pre-emergent herbicide that inhibits shoot and root growth in germinating weeds by interfering with cell division.
Target Weeds: Primarily controls annual grasses and some broadleaf weeds.
How It Works: Absorbed through shoots and roots, it prevents seedling establishment.
Terbuthylazine (125g/L)
Mode of Action: Acts as a photosynthesis inhibitor (PSII inhibitor), preventing the weed from producing energy for growth.
Target Weeds: Broad-spectrum control of annual broadleaf and grass weeds.
How It Works: Absorbed mainly through roots and translocated to leaves, where it disrupts photosynthesis.
Mesotrione (37.5g/L)
Mode of Action: Inhibits carotenoid biosynthesis, leading to bleaching (whitening) of the weeds before they die.
Target Weeds: Controls broadleaf weeds and some grasses.
How It Works: Blocks an essential enzyme (HPPD inhibitor), causing the plant to lose protection from oxidative damage.
