Active Ingredients

• Lufenuron: 40 g/L

• Emamectin Benzoate: 10 g/L

Mode of Action

• Lufenuron

  • Insect growth inhibitor (Benzoyl-urea group).

  • Prevents chitin synthesis, disrupting sloughing processes.

  • Larvae die during or shortly after molting.

• Emamectin Benzoate

  • Natural product of a soil microorganism.

  • Absorbed in plant tissues, ingested by larvae via feeding.

  • Targets the nervous system, causing feeding cessation immediately.

  • Insects die within 3–7 days after exposure.

Directions for Use

1. Half-fill the spray container with water.

2. Mix the required amount of SUSSITA 50EC in a separate container with water.

3. Add the mixture to the spray container while agitating continuously.

4. Top up with water to the required level.

5. Avoid spraying when temperatures are above 30°C.

Application Details

• Crop: Maize

• Pest: Fall Armyworm

• Rate/Ha: 150 ml in 200 L of water

• Dosage (per 20L knapsack): 12 ml

• Number & Interval: Apply 3 times per season at 7–14 day intervals

• Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI): 35 days

Application Timing

• Apply as soon as insects are identified, usually at the 3–4 leaf stage of maize.

Re-Entry Interval (REI)

• 12 hours after spraying or once spray dries.

Phytotoxicity

• Not phytotoxic when used as recommended.

Safety Precautions

• Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling.

• Avoid eye contact.

• Wear protective clothing: cotton overalls, long sleeves, trousers, eye shield, rubber/neoprene gloves, and boots.

• Wash hands and exposed skin before eating, drinking, smoking, or using the toilet.

• Shower/bath after work.
