Fordhook Giant is the standard and most widely grown Swiss Chard (often called spinach in East Africa) variety. It produces vigorous plants with large, dark green, deeply savoyed leaves and broad, juicy white stems. The leaves are soft, tender, and excellent for cooking or fresh use.
