SPIRODICLOFEN
IRAC 23 : Tetronic acid: Lipid biosynthesis inhibitor Spirodiclofen is a non-systemic acaricide with contact and stomach action with excellent translaminar activity.
It has novel acaricidal chemistry with marvelous ovicidal, larvicidal and nymphicidal properties, which controls phytophagous mites of different species in different crops. It is highly effective insecticide specifically formulated to control a broad spectrum of pests, with a particular focus on mites. This advanced insecticide works by inhibiting lipid biosynthesis in pest cells, a process crucial for their growth and development. By disrupting fat production, Spirodiclofen causes the pests to gradually lose their energy reserves, leading to their eventual death.
Abamectin
IRAC 6 : Avermectin: Neurotransmitter inhibitor.
Abamectin is an excellent insecticide, acaricide and nematicide with contact and stomach action. it has limited plant systemic activity but exhibit excellent translaminar movement.
It acts by stimulating the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) system, a chemical “transmitter” produced at nerve endings, which inhibits both nerve to nerve and nerve to muscle communication blocking transmission of signals between nerve cells or between nerve and
muscle cells. Shortly after ingestion, the susceptible mites
and insects become irreversibly paralysed and die.
Highly effective, long lasting residual control of leaf miners and spider mites thus giving better crop yields and quality.
Unique chemistry and mode of action – Spirodiclofen control the eggs, larvae and nymphs of spider mites whereas abamectin control adults thus greatly improving the insecticidal effect and lasting period
Non-phytotoxic at the recommended rate of application – can be used
in varieties of crops at different stages of growth.
Crop Compatibility: This insecticide is suitable for use on a wide range of
crops, including fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants.
It has a wide insecticidal spectrum, which can not only control spider
mites, but also has good effects on pests such as psyllids, Lepidosaphes ulmi and
leafhoppers
